1. Description

N-Hexadecyltrimethylammonium Chloride (CTAC) is a quaternary ammonium compound (QUAT) with the chemical formula C₁₉H₄₂N⁺Cl⁻. It is a cationic surfactant widely used for its antimicrobial, conditioning, and emulsifying properties.
